Do you like your husband calling you "ole lady"?

My husband is always referring to me as his "girl" or "Ole lady" and I told him that's tacky, refer to me as his "wife". And he replied, "all older men refer to their woman like that". But no old men I know refer to their woman in that manner. All of his friends are just immature so that's why they do it. Am I over reacting or do you guys understand?
