Withholding sex
A few nights ago when I confronted my husband of 6 years (ttc 1 year) about why he never initiates or seems to want sex, and why even when I go all out to initiate (outfits, etc), he isn't enthusiastic about it, the answer after an hour of video games with a buddy was "I'm withholding sex because I'm afraid I'm infertile."
Back story: last Thanksgiving he drove himself to the ER for losing a dildo up his anus and had to have it surgically removed, since then has "gone to the gym" 4x a week but isn't fit or toned, puts me down when I talk about anything positive in my life, eg mocked paleo and my cookbooks, and has been steadily increasing consumption of marijuana and alcohol.
Could this be about stress of TTC or is this something else I can't help (addiction, sexuality identity, etc). Thanks for reading.
