Comprehensive Sex Education: Yes or No?
Recently in Omaha, NE city Public Schools held a meeting to gauge the community response to updating the sex education curriculum (curriculum that hasn't been updated in 30 years). It clearly didn't go as planned. With Comprehensive Sex Education (CHE), students are able to opt out of particular areas of the curriculum if it goes against their views/religious beliefs. Yet many staunch opposers of CHE spread misinformation and became violent during the meeting. And well there was #puritymom.
