If you want to reuse it i suggest using another bottle so no Bacteria grows other than that 48 hrs it's good for as long as it's not heated then you have to use within an hour

I honestly feed my daughter and if she doesn't eat it all I put it in the fridge right away. The rate at which it breaks down and all that I personally don't think it's fast or bad enough that I'm going to waste the formula especially if I can refrigerate it as soon as she's done eating since I run a daycare I'm home 90% of the time lol.

If it's ready to use and is liquid, it's good refrigerated for 48 hours.
