Should I get tested?

I had sex with my SO the first time a few days ago. While it was definitely protected sex (condom & IUD) there was like two minutes where bare genitals were grinding up on each other. While I definitely trust him when he says he's completely clean, men are notorious for being a symptomatic with STDs. Would it be an overreaction to get tested? (I was last tested in July)
