Why do men cheat ??

Question

Nothing to do with a problem of mine. But it's out of total curiosity and has been for a long time. I've looked it up online and stuff and it always says "he's too insecure" like is that true ? 
Why do guys cheat ? And what makes a cheater go back to cheating when he has a perfectly good girlfriend ... ?

Probably the same reason why women cheat? Because they're unhappy and would rather sneak around than respect their relationship and talk it out, even if that meant breaking up. There's no excuse to cheat, whether so and so cheated first, I'm unhappy, we don't have sex, there's no spark, blah blah.. If you are unhappy, do yourself and your so the favor of ending it. Don't hurt the other person like that because you're not happy. Whether you're a guy or a girl

I agree the same reason women cheat. 
The one thing I have come to learn is that people tend to cheat and hurt others after they have been cheated on and hurt. It's like they're afraid of getting close and getting hurt again so they choose to be the one to inflict pain.
