What to wear with dark blue jeans?

I'm not a big fan with wearing black and dark blue together it's just not my thing. I have a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, no rips and was wondering what to wear with them

*cracks neck* Ah yes this is my time!!!!!!! first off; denim, especially a darker wash is something I would 100% consider a neutral (something that can be paired with nearly everything... Although this is subject to personal taste). A nice way to contrast the distressing of jeans is to wear something a bit dressier or with a bit of stricture on top. With my distressed jeans I love a white button up (my personal go to is from Aritzia... Because I worked there and pretty much bought the whole store) half tucked and a pointed toe shoe of any kind. The dress shirt/steam line shoe balance the jeans so you still look casual but effortlessly stylish. Another option that would have the same effect is a casual shirt and a blazer/nice cardigan on top. As long as the distressing of the jeans isn't too messy don't be afraid to wear a bold colour or pattern! A dark blue wash is an amazing backdrop for both these concepts.
