Chemical pregnancy???

Question

Ok so about a month ago I had a positive pregnancy test 4 days after my missed period. 3 days later I was bleeding with clotting. . Went to the doctor and they said I had a miscarriage.  Did some research and came with the conclusion that it was a chemical pregnancy. . What causes it? Had anyone have one before? Is it common? Is it me? Can I have kids?

I actually got pregnant after my first cycle of clomid when I found out I was really excited but my nurse told me my levels were really like a 9 when it should've been at least 100. So that night I hoped and prayed and tried my best to be positive and I didn't want to tell my husband who was away on deployment because I wanted to surprise him (hope that I wouldn't have a chemical pregnancy). But after about 2 days went past I couldn't hold it in any more and I told my husband he was really happy and he told me to be hopeful. So that night I read so many articles on chemical pregnancy and I just had a feeling that wasn't right. The very next day I was cramping bad and when I went to the bathroom I saw blood and clots (sorry tmi) and I went to the hospital (where I see the fertility specialist) and they told me it was a chemical pregnancy and they were sure because my levels were suppose to increase  but after the test they drop to a 3 (5 and up is considered pregnant). Honestly I was really hurt... I tried a second cycle of clomid and they had to up my dosage because I wasn't ovulating so finally I did ovulate. But the second cycle didn't result in a pregnancy. But honestly I think it's because me and my husband were staying at my inlaws house during the time I was ovulating and we had no privacy to baby dance and I think that we just missed our window do to the lack of privacy. So all and all I am still very hopeful. I am not sharing my experience with you to discourage you at all, I am honestly hoping that by me sharing my experience you don't feel alone. A chemical pregnancy is just a very early miscarriage. It's a still a miscarriage and they are very common. A lot of people don't even know when they have one, unless they are ttc and paying close attention like we all are. I wouldn't let it bother you just yet. Just keep trying, a lot of women have luck getting pregnancy after a miscarriage because you are very fertile.
