Scared of this baby fever

Has anyone else ever had chronic baby fever, but are just too scared to actually make the choice to TTC? I'm 21 and married for 2 years. I'm beyond excited to become a mommy and have my own little kid... But I am also terrified of the idea of having a kid. It's a huge commitment, and I want to give this kid everything.

I want to be ready and be able to be the best mommy ever! But again... I'm terrified.
