Do you prefer to take pregnancy tests in the morning?

It's 4:45pm and I just got home from the grocery store with a pack of First Repsonse early result tests. I have PCOS and my hormones are absolutely apeshit crazy, but I've got a feeling I'm pregnant, and I'm definitely showing a few early pregnancy symptoms (and things I don't experience during PMS). However, with the way my hormones are, I feel like I should wait til I wake up tomorrow, when my urine will be more concentrated.

I prefer to test using first morning urine. Especially if it's prior to my missed period.

I have NEVER had great luck with fmu! I have pcos too(not sure it has anything to do with it) and when I test my positives are always the darkest and best in the afternoon around 4-7. Don't ask me why but it's happened enough times now it's definitely a pattern.

I took my first at 9pm at night (it was a faint positive) and saved one for the next morning to make sure (still faint but felt good to have 2 show a second line)

Just to update everyone. It's probably for the best right now, but I can't help but feel extremely disappointed. I can't judge whether or not I'm late for a period, because of my PCOS and my periods being irregular. I've had bloating, fatigue, tender breasts and slight darkening in my areolas and nipples, a couple slight dizzy spells, and nausea. None of which I experience before having a period. Guess I'll be making a doctor appointment.

Best time to take a test is in the morning because your urine is more concentrated. But If pregnant it should come up no matter what time. Or at least i would think so. But day time is definitely the best time.

I don't think it matters what time. If you're pregnant it will show up. I took mine at night. Still a line. I've also taken them in the morning, still a line. Test at your own will!

It's probably the best time but both times I've gotten pregnant I tested late afternoon, 3-5pm and both came up positive. The first time I tested I was 3 days late. The second pregnancy I tested 3 days before my missed period. So I guess it really depends on the person. Good Luck.

It depends on how late your period is. I didn't test until a week after my period was due with my son and that was in the am. If you haven't missed your period or are only a couple days late, I'd do FMU.
