Job and maternity leave

Early next year we will ttc and I'm in a rut in my job. But don't want to leave because of the flexibility of my job that I would have while pregnant (I can pretty much do what I want to a degree), plus maternity leave rules in my country might mean that if I have a new job I wouldn't necessarily have a job to come back to.

If I get a new job and get pregnant I will leave soon after plus might not be a very good worker or reliable depending on how my body responds to pregnancy.

But if I stay and it takes me ages to conceive will I regret being still stuck and my job and in the same situation but dragging out the inevitable???

Thoughts/suggestions?
