I 100% agree that not just anybody should be aloud to have it. I think people should be drug tested monthly or every 3 months to qualify and most definitely should have some kind of job. But as a person with medicaid and food stamps and soon to lose it because I make "too much money" I'd like to say that it is unfair to the ones who work and don't qualify and still struggle....medical bills are high..when I was little I didn't even go to the dentist or doctor because we couldn't afford it..both parents worked, we lived in a run down trailer, and sometimes my parents went without eating so we could eat, but they didn't "qualify" wtf?? I probably don't even make 20,000 a year and my boyfriend makes about 22-23,000 and I have to say with a baby it is really hard to live off of that without some kind of help. I wish the government could live off of some of our wages and have kids and see how hard it really is before they say we don't "qualify" its just bullshit tbh
