Sex education in school?

Do you think Sex Ed is important to be taught in schools, or do you think it should be taught by the parents of the child?

There needs to be sex education fucking everywhere. Do you know how many women still believe that your first time having sex SHOULD be painful? Gay sex is never even brought up in sex Ed classes, much less explained - how are these kids NOT going to hurt each other??

Long story short; to make sure kids know how to sex safely is more important than pretending they won't have sex.

It's super important that good, correct and sex positive sex education is given in schools. The better sex education kids get the lower the STD and teen pregnancy rates are so it's a no brainer. Relying on parents means that a lot of kids will be taught misinformation passed down with no sex ed teacher to clarify and correct. No matter how good your personal knowledge is, there are millions of parents will poor or little real education. Having sex doesn't make you an expert.

An no, abstinence only is not sex ed. Sex positive education teachers safe sex and consent so the kids who want to have sex won't get fucked up in the process and won't rape whilst those who decide to abstain have that freedom to choose not to.

From my experience there really are no genuine anti-sex-ed arguments because every single argument I've heard was full of misinformation and misunderstanding of how good sex ed works.

I had made a Facebook status talking about 
It's true, that both parents & schools need to educate children on sex . & the idea of abstinence isn't realistic for most kids. & in the sex education that they give isn't even about sex . It's about the reproductive organs & what happens during a period . This is taught in elementary to middle school& once the kids are in high school where most kids start having sex there's no education being taught about it which is why it leads to teen pregnancy & STDs among teens . There's not enough communication about it . I'm 18 & I know a lot about sex from googling questions & watching sex positive videos on YouTube & I'm still a virgin . I have multiple friends who don't know much about sex who have already had it & regret a lot of things they've done because they don't have that structure behind the idea of sex . Which is something we need to teach teens & preteens how to create so they don't have such low self esteem when it comes to that issue . Because once they have rules & guidlines & morals behind the idea of sex then they'll feel more comfortable with it & they'll evaluate whether having sex with this person is okay or not . They don't understand that if you're not 100% okay with having sex with someone that you shouldn't have sex with them. A lot of my friends both younger & older than me say they regret losing their virginities & wish they had waited for someone else . 
Also giving information about what's acceptable & what's not acceptable & knowing what consensual sex is will help them identify situations of abuse & molestation . Which puts more sex offenders in jail & keeps kids safer .
