Anyone else's stomach get painfully full and hard after sleeping?

When I wake up, it doesn't matter what position I was laying in, my stomach feels full and insanely hard right under my ribs...it almost feels like baby is curled up sideways there and taking all the room but he's not! He's head down and engaged. So idk why it does  that

My doctor said it is small contractions . i have that same thing happen to me and i just practice my breathing to get through it

Same exact feeling for me! I get so tight and it's as if you can even see them curled up. I took a picture last night. 39 weeks waiting for him to arrive any day now!

My ribs have been killing me for weeks. I'm 36+5 baby is head down and engaged but my ribs are constantly hurting me. Feels like an intense stretching almost. Idk what it is or what to do about it. Midwife didn't really have any answers either. Warm bath or time on a heating pad help but only temporarily. I am so ready for this baby to get here. I went to 41+1 with my son and I can't imagine doing that again while feeling like this.

I sometimes wonder if the hardness/tightness is a part of the uterus contracting. Because my bubs is way down and sometimes it'll feel super hard at the top, like he's pushing against the muscle, but it doesn't feel like he is. (I'm just guessing tho.)

Following, I have the same thing going on. I think it's him trying to fully stretch out, his heads in my pelvis his butt is under my left ribs and his knees/feet are on my left side. So he's out of room lol
