My goal is to give birth naturally because it's a quicker recovery and potentialy faster labor.... I understand it could be painful and I may say give me the drugs lol but it's my goal to go as long as I can without anything.

I've had miscarriage at 11weeks naturally and the contractions and passing it hurt like hell! I was damn near delirious from the feeling...so I can't imagine the pain at 40weeks. 😱

I'm planning a natural birth and have always felt I wanted it that way even before becoming pregnant. Then I watched the Business of Being Born on Netflix and it solidified my decision. If you haven't watched it I would definitely recommend it. I'm not doing it to feel like I deserve a "trophy " or bragging rights. Giving birth is hard either way.

Natural. I went 19 hours with my daughter natural and the only problem was that her head had been stuck for more than 5 hours at an angle behind my pelvis bone. Dr started to push for a c section and told me if I needed one I needed to get an epidural or be put to sleep. I chose the epi and my daughter came out in two hours so I avoided the c section. However, the epi made pushing so hard! I couldn't feel anything or control my legs.

I want natural. I know it's going to be painful but I know I can do it. I want to be up and moving after birth.

I had to be induced with my first, I went in at 12 midnight, at 3pm the next day I was 3cm and had an epidural, and my daughter was born at 9pm so I don't think it slowed the process down for me at all. However getting to 3pm when I got that epidural was the longest most painful experience of my life, it was ALL in my back. It literally felt like a knife in my spine was being twisted with every contraction. There's no way in hell I'd dare to experience the full on pain of labor if given the choice. Lol I will definitely be opting for an epidural again. But more power to you brave ladies who do it all natural, you guys are awesome.

Natural because I had an epidural with my first two babies and no epidural with my last two. I labored for 20-23 hours with the epidural babies and I couldn't feel myself pushing  or feel my legs afterward. I labored for 3-6 hours with my natural babies which was very painful but I could feel the pushes and the babies positions which gave me the strength to get them out quicker. The pain completely subsided once the babies were out. On a side note, it  doesn't matter to me whether someone chooses and epidural or not. Labor is very painful. We take pain relievers for aches and pains that don't even compare to the birthing process all the time. Headache anyone?

I've had epidurals,  and if this is my last baby, I want this one to be unmedicated.
