Yeast Infection. Early symptom?

Not that a yeast infection is included as a symptom of just finding out you are pregnant, but I did read that because of all the hormonal changes going on, bacteria in the body is affected and in turn a yeast infection develops. With my second baby, I had a yeast infection externally, above my private area but under my pouch that you get from being chubby. It was treated with Diflucan. I noticed yesterday that I had another rash, but this time between my left thigh and private area. I have been washing well and drying well and using powder in the area, Gold Bond brand. Could this possibly be a sign of pregnancy or just a way of my period coming as hormones change once approaching menstrual (I am due for AF 11/10). Also, I have never had an issue with yeast infections right before AF was due to show. Only was it an issue when I was pregnant. I would like some insight on this matter as waiting to test is becoming more difficult, lol. And either way, whether my question is answered or not, I do still have to wait to test. But TIA!
