Should I take my breast pump to the hospital with me for any reason?

I brought mine but left it in the car. Then if it was needed my husband could just run to the car rather than home. Our hospital had them and I just forgot so I had it in case

I probably wouldn't the hospital provides one. It's just an extra bag to carry. I would just bring nipple cream and breast pads

No hospital grade pumps are much better than any pump

The hospital probably has a lactation consultant who will walk you through pumping, and it's more helpful if they show you on your pump. Depends on the hospital.

I took mine. The nurses were so relieved that they didnt have to find me one so they just brought me storage tube and nipples in case he didnt latch.

My hospital focused on breastfeeding. Said I could come back with my pump if I needed help but it really wasn't that hard to figure out with the manual. Like someone else said, it's just another bag to carry!

Yes. I did not because just assumed I would breastfeed not realizing that it would not work for me. I started pumping in the hospital and wish I had thought to bring my own pump so that I could learn to use it.

I brought mine because my son was I the NICU and the hospital breast pump could not leave my room. I sat in NICU all day every day until I was released
