Super sensitive cervix

So my dr said I have a very sensitive cervix for no reason other than pregnancy. No infections or anything like that. But when I got my pap, it hurt so bad that I cried, like full on cried in the office. It was horrible and embarrassing. Well now I'm suddenly terrified about giving birth. I have been wanting a baby for a long time, and I have never been scared or nervous about that part before. (With the exception of an episiotomy v tearing - I welcome insight there as well). Has anyone else had an experience with a horribly painfully sensitive cervix? How did it affect the birth? Thanks ladies. :)
