Anyone planning a C-section?

My due date is June 22 but I already am down for a C-section on the 16th. My son was born via emergency C-section because his heart rate was almost undetectable and he had to come out right that moment. They weren't sure he would be alive. I've weighed the pros and cons of a VBAC and it's just not worth it for me. Plus, doctors make is so incredibly hard to have one, it's not worth the struggle. I'm relieved in my decision actually, but find myself having to defend it. People say "why not at least try?" And blah blah blah. Anyone else in the same boat? I hate that I have to defend my decision, my body, my baby, why must people butt in!? 😕
