OK ladies. Is ANY kind of spotting normal at 8 weeks?

I'm 8 weeks today and just saw some darkish blood in my panties.  Not bright red.  I did have sex this morning.  Could it be from that or is this a sign of miscarriage?

I have a cervical polyp and my OB said I'd have spotting throughout my pregnancy. Besides around 4-5 weeks I haven't really had any more. It depends on how much it is and other symptoms. If it's not alot. Spotting in early pregnancy is normal

I'm 8 weeks almost 9. My doctor said spotting is not normal at all. You need to get it checked out. I spotted and told my doctor and he was worried but since I stopped he said it was okay. But definitely call your doctor. Everyone is different so don't depend on other people's advice. No offense to anyone but I was told it was normal and my doctor told me it's not at all.
