Ovulation

Ok ladies I'm new to all this so I'm slow on the lingo but I was curious if anyone has had or are currently having this issue. When I'm due to ovulate I usually get light to moderate cramping with some spotting. I went to the obgyn who gave me an ultra sound of my uterus and cervix also checked for pcos and endometriosis which I was cleared from. Since it doesn't happen every month the doc mentioned I should just monitor it for any changes and we can re-evaluate. I did some of my own little research on Google and came across something called mittleschmers. It's said to have middle abdominal pain and sometimes light bleeding at the time of ovulation. What do you ladies think? and should I bring up mittleschmers to my obgyn next month?
