Curious?

So I've been on the pill for 8 days now, (my pamphlet says I'm fully protected after 7) my boyfriend and I are planning on having sex Wednesday (which will be day 10 for me) without and condom and probably let him finish inside of me. I know I've been on it long enough to be protected.. But I've had 0 symptoms people mention when they first start which kind of freaks me out. 

Does this matter? I'll be safe right? (I'm a 'perfect user' for the pills)
