Irregular periods after birth control- anyone else?

So...I officially went off birth control 5 months ago when we decided to start TTC. I've been having a period almost every two weeks since then. I keep waiting for my period to go back to normal (like it was before birth control), but I'm getting very frustrated. I don't know if I need to just be patient or if maybe something is wrong. Did anyone else have this problem after going off birth control?
