What's the popular birth control these days (Nov 2015)

Hey...I haven't been on birth control in almost 10 years ...but I am considering getting on it for 2 or 3 months then to stop as recommended by an obgyn to help me pop up prego...last thing I was on was ortho tricyclen...I would love suggestions for the popular stuff out now that 1. Doesn't make me gain weight 2. Has a sugar pill week 3. Comes with cute packaging 4. Not expensive with or without insurance
