When to test

I'm trying to figure out when I should start taking HPTs. I'm 11dpo AF due the 20th. Is it still too early to test? I have a couple $.88 walmart tests and the strip tests coming in the mail that should be here the 21st.

Same situations my AF should be here on the 21st but i really want to test but kind scared to see the result trying to wait till saturday .....
