TTC and x-rays...

I am a licensed vet tech and work in a very busy animal hospital. We take X-rays multiple times a day, obviously I know that the radiation is bad for pregnant women. My SO and I have been TTC since Feb. so far just negatives but when I do finally get a positive test result I want to follow thru with a blood test to confirm. Any opinions on if it's safe for me to wait to tell my boss and all coworkers when I do get a positive and wait until a blood test comes back?
