Edema?

Question

I'm 27w 3d & just got told I have edema in both my legs, this is very painful and basically a pain in the ass. 
Any of you ladies have/had edema before? & what did you do for it?

I had it before I was pregnant, now so far I'm fine...but cold water helps so much! And lots of water, no SALT...stay away from sodium it'll only make it worse. But when you get super swollen, just fill a tub (or anything) with cold water and put you feet/legs in for a few minutes. It's hard to do because it's so cold but it usually helps a little bit 😌

Answer

One of the reasons for any leg or ankle swelling is salt intake. If you have higher levels of salt in your diet, cutting down may help.
Also, if you can find compression stockings they can help slow/stop or reduce swelling.
