Tampon applicator hard to remove?

I'm having a hard time removing the applicator once I push the tampon in. It seems like the tampon doesn't go in my vagina because when I pull the applicator out thinking the tampon is in, the applicator slides out along with the tampon a quarter of the way out. What am I doing wrong? :/

Try fully depressing the applicator plunger, then wait a few seconds before pulling it out. Sometimes it just needs a second to absorb a bit so that the claw tip of the applicator isn't able to pull it out when you remove it. Or if you've got a handle on your kegels, try using those to hold the tampon while you remove the applicator lol.

Also, make sure your finger isn't pinching the string against the applicator, as that could be pulling the tampon out with the applicator.

I've had tampons pull back out if I was too wet (too much blood) for the tampon size, so it acted like lube, making it come right back out with the applicator. I've had times where it hit my cervix & if I don't angle it to go beside it, there's not enough pressure to keep the applicator from pulling it out. I've had a combination of things.

I had this problem then realized I was buying the tampons that you have to click into place first. Try pulling the two halfs apart until you hear a click. I felt so stupid lol so simple. Kotex are usually like that

Sounds like you are too dry! Try putting some lube on then push it in as far as you can then insert and as your inserting the apllicater should almost retract itself.

Hmm ... Push the applicator up as far as you can , whilst keeping your fingers on the top part . Then push the bottom bit up. When it wont go any further keep pushing it lightly and pull down the top bit . It sounds like you are pullung it out before the tampon has finished comming out of the applicator .... Does this help ?!
