Who has all done the nub theory is it being correct

Just want to see how accurate the nub theory is and if it is a good way of telling what you are having sooner so comment if u have a different answer!! Thanks so much!

I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and the tech said that if she would have to guess, she thought it was a boy.  She didn't refer to "nub theory" but basically verified that it is true that both genders have nubs at that point and they are pointing in different directions.  She did however make it clear that it is still early to tell conclusively. So I won't know for sure for another few weeks
