So a few days ago I took an at home pregnancy test and I thought it was inconclusive because the line in the control window hadn't came up and it looked more like a division sign in the pregnant or not pregnant window so I asked my sister in law if she had an extra test which she did so I took it and in the first few seconds it was 1 solid line and 1 very faded line but after about 20 seconds the faded line disappeared and the 1 solid line stayed so I told my sister in law and she insisted we go to the store and get a cheap test and try one more time so I ran to the bathroom to get my shoes and in those few minutes the 1st test that I thought was inconclusive then had a line in the control window and 1 full line across and a half a line on the bottom which according to the instructions means positive. I am very late for my period, around 15 to 20 days late. It's sort of unclear because my periods are irregular, but they almost ALWAYS come every month. My original plan was to wait a few more days and take another test, however I am so nervous I can barely keep food down.

Oh and also if it makes any difference the first test that ended up being positive was a CVS brand test that cost me 11 dollars, the 2nd that my sister in law gave me was a first response but was out of the box and she had bought 6 months before, the last was a dollar general 1 dollar test.
