Not exactly what I had planned.

Membranes were stripped at 38 week appointment Monday morning. I was dilated to 4cm. Contractions started almost immediately(around 11:30am). We came to the hospital at 1 and I hadn't dilated anymore than I was at my appointment that morning so we were released to walk for an hour around 2. We walked to jimmy johns and the nurse had told Tony I shouldn't eat. I did anyways because I was hungry. As we were about to leave I decided to use the bathroom and my water broke around 2:45. Tony bribed a delivery driver $20 to take us back to the hospital. My contractions became very strong. Worse pain I've ever felt in my life. I immediately changed my mind about having an epidural. I threw all of the jimmy johns snacks I had up.  As soon as they got the spinal block they checked me again and I was dilated to an 8 or 9. This was around 3:45pm.
