Who would be better for an unassisted hospital birth? A CNM or an OB/GYN??

I have nothing against CNM if your pregnancy is healthy and you have no complications go for it. I my self have to have a OBGYN and a MFM I have a very serious and dangerous condition called Vesa Previa and Valementous cord Insertion if I do not have a c section my twins will die and I could have sever complications myself even life threatening to me. What I worry about is misdiagnosed women if I wouldn't have listened to my gut and switched obgyn this would not have been found because it's not a mandatory ultrasound. my tiwins would have had a 97% fatality risk. I think CNM don't get the credit they deserve but not everyone can and should go to one either.

OBs are SURGEONS. 
Since the beginning of time there have been midwives. Did you know midwifery lost popularity because MALE practitioners wanted to step in? They made it seem like midwives were used by poor POC. Seriously. So midwives lost their popularity and modern medicine butchered birth. 
You can cry all you want "but they save lives! All the csections!" For one, most of those are unnecessary. I'm sorry ladies, but it's true. Most csections these days can be prevented but are not by OBs. It's more convenient and more money.
Now, if there is an emergency, of course they are available. But it should be normal for midwives to be more involved in birth than OBs. 
You /can/ watch the business of being born, but I also highly recommend finding articles, studies and books as well, since the business of being born is slightly old now. I still recommend it.
Midwives should be who you see for prenatal care and who you plan your birth with. OBs should be who you see if you are high risk or if there is a genuine emergency.
 I also say all of this as a woman who could have avoided an unnecessary csection if I hadn't gone to an OB. I've researched a lot since then.

an unassisted birth means NO MIDWIFE. an OB will deliver in a hospital, not at home.

Midwifery led care has better outcomes than doctor led care, in terms of less interventions. If you want a natural birth a midwife will give the best possible outcome for that. Doctors get paid for interventions because of the way birth is medicalised. If you're happy for interventions then a doctor is best.

Midwives are always best for minimal interventions. I think that's what you meant. Unassisted birth is a labour and birth completely alone with no medical professionals attending.

It really depends on the hospital you use. If I were you I might look into midwives in your area, as long as you're not high risk, they're really good at natural   unassisted  births whether it's at home or in a birth center

It's individually based. Go on something localized and ask if anyone who has had a unassisted hospital delivery to message you. Find out who delivered like that.. Many doctors agree to stuff and then at the last minute don't allow it. For instance every single one of my clients have been told they could have delayed cord clamping. So far I've not seen delayed cord clamping happen.
