Failed 3 hours diabetes test

Got the nurse call today. All my 3 hour results are escalated. Need to see a diabetes specialist next week. I am so stressed. 29.1 weeks now. Yesterday ultrasound shows the baby is doing fine. 2lb and 9 oz. Everything is on track. I have never thought I will have diabetes. No family member has it. I weight lower than standard before pregnancy and have only gained 12 pounds so far.  And I am 29 years old. Not even 30 yet. Now I am not dare to eat rice and banana. I am worried that my baby is at risk. And I will get type 2 diabetes in the future. I don't want to inject insulin and poke my finger 4 times per day lifelong. Sigh...
