Curious . I see a lot of people against women putting their daughters on birth control , because it "influences" them to have sex ... I asked my mom for BC , she was upset because she thought I was having sex , but I wasn't . I just want to be sure if anything was to happen once I went off to college , if any slips up happened , I'd be protected ... All that time PREVENTING myself from getting pregnant , nOw I'm TRYING &' it's soooo stressful . Ugh

Parents put me on it when I was 15 because of a rumor that went around school that got back to them. I didn't do anything and my parents refused to believe me. I was shamed at church, grounded for 3 months, never allowed to be around boys EVER until I was 18, shamed at CVS and forced to buy a pregnancy test (as a 15yo that's mortifying), shamed at the doctors office, had to have a pap (I screamed and cried the whole time, I was a virgin and it hurt), HIV and syphilis testing..... It was actually horrible what my parents put me through. And you know what it taught me?? It taught me that since I was going to be slut shamed, I might as well act like one!!!!!

Lol my OB tried to make me. So I took the prescription, and ripped it up. If I wanna have another baby, I will.

I made the decision by myself about a month before I turned 17, but decided to talk to my mum about it before I went into the doctor. 
She was actually really chill with it, and even offered to pay for the remainder of my senior year while I was still at home. 
I did have a boyfriend at the time, and personally I wanted to get on the pill before we had sex.

My long time highschool/college boyfriends mom, who was like a mom to me and still is, talked to us about being safe and helped us make safe choices and get on birthcontrol. We where together for a year before so she knew me well enough so it wasn't an awkward conversation, she was always open about everything which was nice and I'm so thankful for her wisdom to this day I hope to be a mom like her.

I chose to get on the pill at 19. Id been having sex from the age of 17 but luckily we were smart enough to use condoms.

I did it myself. My parents wouldn't allow me to. I grew up in a very strict religious home. I was still hiding my sex life from my parents at 30 when I finally moved in my current partner. It wasn't worth it to pretend anymore.

My mom put me on the pill when i was 13 cause my cramps were so bad i would throw up and have to miss school. Motrin didnt help. I stopped when i was 18 almost 19.....tried the shot and patches then i just stopped.

I started af at 12 and always bragged i didnt get cramps then of course a yr later i got the worst of them-_- thats karma for ya

Mine, but I know one or two girls that I'm pretty sure it was their parents and doctor put them on BC to help regulate their cycles.
