When do they stop doing Tran-v. Ultrasounds?

...and start doing the tummy ones?  I have an appt at 9 weeks 3 days and was wondering which it would be.. And when they start doing the ultrasounds on the belly?

I did trans vaginal until 12 weeks

My ultrasound tech said they stop doing transvaginal at 8 weeks!

I think it's 12 or 13 weeks . I could be wrong , but I do remember when I was pregnant with my son they did switch around that time frame .

I believe it would be vaginal but I think the more pregnancies you have had the sooner they switch to abdominal👀

I think it depends on how much they are seeing with a regular one.  I don't think you would ever need one by the end of the first trimester if not by 8-10 weeks.  I just had a regular ultrasound and measured 5 weeks 5 days.  They could see the little sliver of a baby and found a heartbeat so an internal ultrasound wasn't necessary even though it's still early.

I got a regular ultrasound at 8-9 weeks. The nurse says it all depends on the women.

Thanks everyone! I can't remember for the life of me when they switched for me with my son.  I guess it all depends and we will have to see :-) so excited and can't wait either way!  Congrats to all!
