8 weeks pregnant and going to Egypt in 2 weeks?

Has anybody been to Egypt- Hurghada while pregnant. The holiday has been booked since Feb and obviously I didn't know I would be pregnant. I'm aware you need vaccines but I can't because of baby. Has anybody been and been completely fine? Worried mummy here.

I think it would be best to stay home unfortunately. I feel like that's bad advice but you don't want to risk getting a disease and giving it to baby. My family has raced in Egypt and they said that certain places are very dirty, much like the US, but different areas carry different diseases. Vaccinations are always very important when traveling because of foreign illness and viruses. Hope you get it all situated. Sorry for the crappy advice.

I assume you are staying in one hotel in hurgadah. Ask you doc if there is abything you might need! I would on'y be careful with food! Eat nothing raw or washed... No icecubes not water- on'y bottled!
