Ovulation tests?

So I took an ovulation test this morning and I got a faint line as a result. I know the box says this is considered a negative for the LH surge but can anyone tell me if it could be the start of one? Like perhaps tomorrow it will be a solid dark line? Or can you test faint lines at any point in your cycle? This is my first month trying all this. So I'm really kinda new to it all. :) thanks!

Okay so I just started using OPKs & I have yet to get two dark lines or get one where the test line is darker than the control line , I am in my second day of my fertile window according to glow , so I'll continue to test until I get that positive surge . LH is the hormone that's constantly in your body so if your urine is not diluted the text will likely pick it up, but once your surge comes , you'll notice a big difference in the darkness of the test line ( should be darker than the control line) GOOD LUCK!!

you will almost always have a faint second line, which is why it's critical to keep testing until you get a second line that is as dark or darker than the control line- that's your surge. If your nervous about the lines, you could also use a digital OPK (the smiley faces) until you get the hang of it, or to confirm. Good luck!

Also your not suppose to test in the early morning, definitely do NOT use FMU. The best time to get an accurate result is in the early afternoon/evening.
