Is it possible to remain friends after a breakup?!?

When I found my BF, I also found my Best Friend. He makes me a better person & has taken me to a level of maturity that I am very appreciative of. Sometimes I get worried because I hear people breaking up & acting like strangers. I REFUSE for that to happen. I want to keep my Best Friend no matter if it's time to move on one day. You guys think it's possible?!?I think it is.
