Hair Dye

Hi ladies! I'm 9+3 and in desperate need of a haircut and dye. It looks awful and I'd like it done for the holidays... However I'm worried about the chemicals. I currently have my hair done in an ombré style. I'll probably have something similar redone after having it cut, so that the dye/lightener doesn't touch my scalp. Anybody else coloring their hair at this stage, or have consulted their doctor or midwife about it. Obviously I haven't talked to mine yet. I've heard the "no you can't" - "yes you can" when it comes to dying hair while preggo. Thoughts or knowledge?
