Ttc boyfriend first child

Me and my boyfriend are TTC his first child my second one but I think something is wrong wit his sperm the girlfriends he had before me all had miscarries but after they broke up went on and had healthy babies I dont know if I should ask him to get his sperm looked at cause I dont wanna go thru a miscarriage
