Any suggestions what to do for tooth pain?

I need a root canal but my insurance won't cover it until February and now I'm pregnant & can't take any pain killers. The pain is killing me 😓 Any tips/suggestions on how to handle the pain?

Tylenol and clove oil (put the clove oil on a piece of gauze and hold it on your gum where it hurts as long as you can) I got dry socket on both sides after getting mine pulled and last year and the dentist mixed coconut and clove oil and packed it down in there then told me to use gauze and clove oil at home... I also had surgery at 10w and my mfm dr told me to take Advil 400mg 2-3 times a day for pain I would check with your dr first but mine thought it was ok...

Any suggestions what to do for tooth pain?
