How do I tell my parents?

I'm 17 and I just found out I'm pregnant. I live with my dad because I'm closer to him but my parents have hated my boyfriend for the last two years I've been with him. I have no idea how to tell my dad about the baby? I'm scared he won't let me see my boyfriend anymore.

You have to rip off the bandaid... Just tell him. (Sometimes crying makes them softer 😉) but the sooner the better, regardless he's your dad and he loves you and wants to protect you (no matter how he reacts)

The best thing to do is tell him right away. I was 17 when I got pregnant and I was pretty much in the same situation. My parents weren't very happy obviously. They were very upset, But they were very supportive. They laid out every option for me and let me decide. I know it's scary but it's not as bad as you think it will be. And you want to start those appointments and find a good doctor asap! I wish the best of luck to you.

I'm 21 and when I was pregnant I was terrified to tell my dad. I ended up bawling my eyes out and he asked what was wrong so I told him ( thinking he'd kill me because he's strict ) but then he started crying and saying how he always wanted to be a grandpa! Lol long story short, it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it, even your partner. If you feel like you're ready to bring a life into the world by yourself then go for it, anyone who supports you will just make it easier for you :)

My daughter is almost 8 months now and I could not have been happier.

When's your 18th birthday? Maybe if you can wait until you're 18 to tell him. (Then you're an adult)

Just tell them. Maybe tell them together. It's hardly ever like the movies where they flip out and make a scene. Maybe have your boyfriend tell them with you that could help work on maybe making them hate him less since he's making a show of being supportive to you and taking responsibility.
