Am I too dominant?

Okay so im 17, ive only had intercourse once, but i have have more sexual experience in general, and im worried i might be too dominant in sex. When i did have intercourse, i was on top (and loved it) and throughout my other experiences ive realised that i am asseritve when it comes to sex and and i dont like just being passive. This is not at all in an s&m way, im just generally quite straightfoward with what is going to happen, should i try to tone it down? Do guys find that a turn off?
