Do you think hormonal birth control causes infertility?

Does anyone else feel like hormonal birth control messed them up? I feel like it really messed up my system and I sometimes wish I'd never taken it.

I started taking the pill when I was 17. I stopped in January of 2012 after about 7 years of nonstop use. It took over a year before I got a period and then my cycles were 100+ days long. My cycles gradually got shorter ranging from 60-35 days. In May of 2014, I got pregnant. I miscarried at 9 weeks. Since then my cycles have been 35-45 days.

I'm just curious if anyone has had similar experiences. I'm just feeling very frustrated with my body.
