Wearing a seatbelt while pregnant
I'm wondering if anyone in the medical community has knowledge or if yall just have opinions on whether I should position the seatbelt below, at, or above my belly button while riding in a car? I'm 12 weeks weeks pregnant tomorrow (YAY!!), and my teenage daughter does travel cheer so we will be driving a lot and in the car for longer periods of time. My concern is, at the point of impact the seatbelt will essentially tighten and lock on my baby belly, and I'm wondering which way would be less impact or harmful to the baby. Thanks😊
