Ftm, what exactly should you put in the baby's hospital bag?

Clothes, diapers, wipes, baby blanket. A suggestion for your bag would have to be snacks especially if you plan on breastfeeding. I would wake up starving in the middle of the night and didn't have enough snacks.

Hospital usually provides diapers and wipes.  Baby's first outfit, they might take hospital pictures so think about that. I like to take slippers, sweats, and a sweater for myself. Don't forget your phone charger.

You'll find more extensive lists online but also it depends on how long you'll be staying overnight from what I've read. Aside from what these other lovely ladies have listed, good ideas; pads or panty liners (or disposable undies), disposable breast pads, and of course the approved car seat.

Oh chapstick is a MUST your lips get dry. And nursing pads.

I was told to take maxi pads, underwear that I didn't mind possibly getting ruined, few pairs of socks, slippers, couple nightgowns that button, couple nursing bras and pads, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush/paste, brush, hair ties, hair stuff and make up (optional [pictures]), Chargers, going home outfit (sweats), Chapstick, lotion and I can't remember what else.
Baby bag: going home outfit, 1-2 blankets (put over him in the car) ..and I'm drawing a blank on the rest.
