How to prevent stretch marks?

Hello! What are the most effective products to prevent stretch marks?

I got all of my stretch marks during my first pregnancy. this pregnancy: no stretch marks but I do have a terrible varicose vein. I say stay active and watch what you eat so you don't gain too much weight too fast. Makes all of the difference. I'm 35 weeks and I still run and exercise almost daily.

I'm really fearing bad strech marks...I've been lathering my boobs, butt, belly and hips with belly butter(Burt's bees) and layering with regular lotion since I was about 6 weeks and I just noticed my first strech marks on the underside of my boobs at 17 weeks. Boo!!

You can't really prevent them. If you're going to get them, you will. I used HEMPZ brand lotions, they're sold at most beauty stores/hair salons/tanning beds, they come in alot of yummy smells. I used it from the time I got pregnant, until 10 months after I had my first and it helped them alot. Instead of red they were white and veryyy faint. This time around I haven't used it very much and they're red and gross looking :( hoping to get some more for Christmas!

You can't prevent. It all depends on the elasticity of your skin. That being said I use to use Pamers cocoa butter religiously while pregnant but with my last two I didn't just used my regular lotion and still no stretch marks. All depends on your skin.

Make sure to drinks lots of water and use coconut oil on your belly. There's not much else you can do. You either get them or you don't.

I used organic coconut oil daily and stayed well hydrated. No stretch marks yet! At 39+4. When I was younger and went through puberty I got a ton of stretch marks on my hips butt and the back and insides of my thighs. They are so old you can barely see them but I thought for sure I would get stretch marks as I have he them before. I do think it's in your genes but it also doesn't hurt to take care or your self and make an effort to try and prevent them, if anything it'll make them not as bad. Also, the straight coconut oil is so moisturizing that I never was really itchy either! I would skip the cocoa butter and go straight for the oil!
