What to expect for induction?

Question

Being induced in the morning (37 weeks due to preeclampsia) what can I expect? Cervadil and pitocin , contractions, etc. I'm a nervous wreck about it 😅

Induced with all three. I was already dilated with all of them, so they just broke my water and started pitocin to speed up contractions. I had an epidural with the last two, which I HIGHLY recommend if they give you pitocin. Pitocin will make contractions harder and closer together. Good luck!!! :-)

Mine was slowed way down with the cervadil..once I got the epidural it sped way up...the contractions are really intense with that stuff though! I got to the hospital thursday at 9pm to start inducing, didn't have him until friday at 1130pm. Good luck!

I was induced with both mine. My first because lAbor wasn't progressing as it should and second because he was a day late. They have me the meds and then a few hours later I got my epidural and just rode it out. Prayers all goes smoothly!
