Your SO's relationship with your mom

Would you find it troublesome if your SO was and still remains in better terms (and occasional contact as if they were family members) with his ex's mother than with your own mother? What if your SO and your mother dislike each other greatly? Does that affect the nature of the relationship your SO has with you?
