CD 60 & starting Progesterone. Any advice?

So my doctor is starting me on Progesterone tonight due to the fact that I'm on CD 60 & I'm curious as to who all have taken this & what I can expect. He wants me to take it monthly, what day do I take it? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

I'm also taking Metformin 1000mg & going to start my first round of Clomid on CD 5-9 of this next cycle.

So I took Provera (which is a form of Progesterone) and it was the worst period of my life-- so heavy. I used to be extremely regular until April, then became really irregular and was diagnosed with PCOS. Took Provera + 500mg Metformin twice a day + 50mg Clomid on cycle day 5-9. The Clomid gave me hot flashes. In fact, I'm still having them and I'm 4dpo now 😅😅😅 the Metformin gave me stomach problems for a good week or two off and on, just keep taking it... it'll get better. Baby dust to you!
